Position and specialisms
Bill is based in the Poole office. He is a member of the Audit and Assurance District Society Liaison Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Bill specialises in Forensic Accountancy and has acted as an Expert Witness for clients, including Court hearings where he is a calm and persuasive witness.
In addition to the above Bill manages an active portfolio of corporate and professional clients in a wide range of businesses, to whom he provides general business, accounting and taxation advice. He has a thorough understanding of the problems faced by owner managers and takes a very practical approach to ensure his clients receive a high quality effective service.
Education and career
Bill was educated at Ipswich School and subsequently The University of Hull where he graduated with an honours degree in Chemistry. He trained with a local firm in Hull, subsequently joining a national accountancy practice when he moved to Poole in 1980. In 1990 he became a Partner in one of the predecessor firms to Princecroft Willis.
Bill was born in 1955. He is married to Georgina and lives in Poole.¬† He has two daughters. Bill's main hobby is sailing - he has a trimaran.
