Mark Johns

Position and specialisms

Mark is Managing Partner, based in the Poole office.  In addition to his Managing Partner duties, he specialises in dealing with family and owner managed businesses typically in the £2-£25m turnover range. He has specific industry knowledge of motor retailers, building and manufacturing companies and leads due diligence work within the Corporate Finance department. Mark states that "the provision of a strong, holistic and proactive approach to my clients' affairs is central to my ethos and is fundamental to my partner led approach. This cannot be achieved without the great team working alongside me."

Education and career

Mark was educated locally at Poole Grammar School and joined a local national firm where he trained as a Chartered Certified Accountant, qualifying in 1990. After working away from the area for six years, Mark returned and joined a predecessor firm of Princecroft Willis in 1999, becoming a Partner in 2000 and Managing Partner in 2011. In 2008 Mark was admitted as an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Personal information

Mark was born in 1965 and lives in Poole. He has two children. His interests include playing golf and tracing his family history. He maintains a strong link with Poole Grammar School where he acts as Responsible Officer.
